I already own a CalmBox. Do I need this?
No. The Owner Program is the same 30 days at $99, for people who already have a box. We confirm your purchase; if we can't, you get a full refund.
When does the box ship?
US addresses only. Once your prescription is written, the box ships free within 3–5 business days, with tracking by email.
Does the CalmBox need a prescription?
Yes. The CalmBox is a cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) device, used for the 20-minute daily protocol in your plan. After checkout you fill out a short form about why you want to use it. Dr. Doug Cowan reviews it, and once he approves, he writes your prescription and your box ships. If it isn't approved, we refund your order in full.
What is the assessment?
An online cognitive assessment of about 30–40 minutes, taken at home. It measures areas like attention, memory, and processing speed, and we translate each score into what it means for your day. It is not a medical test.
Does anything renew?
Not on its own. This is a one-time purchase. On day 25 we email you the option to keep CalmWaves Studio for $29 a month, and you cancel that anytime.
What's your refund policy?
You have 30 days to ask for a full refund, counted from purchase — or from delivery if your program includes a CalmBox. A returned CalmBox must be in working condition, and you pay the return shipping. See our terms.
Is this medical care?
